If you’re looking for gift ideas for the entrepreneur(s) in your life, you’ve come to the right place!
But before we get into it, I want to make this important note. Sometimes the most meaningful ways to support an entrepreneur won’t cost you a dime.
For instance, you could:
- Share their business on social media
- Leave a review for their book, product, or business
- Refer a customer who could use their help
Now, assuming you’ve already done those things, let’s get into the gift ideas.
These were curated from my own shopping lists and from suggestions from the Side Hustle Nation community on Facebook.
Gifts for Entrepreneurs Under $20
Starbucks Gift Cards
I once read that Starbucks gift cards were the world’s most popular gift. Perfect any caffeine-fueled entrepreneur on your list.
Blue Light Blocking Glasses
You’ve probably heard that looking at your computer screen or phone in the evening can make it harder to get a good night’s sleep. But sometimes those late night (or just post-kid-bedtime) work sessions are a fact of life.
These cool looking glasses block the blue light from your screens, which should lead to better sleep.
I’ve got a similar pair I wear every night when I’m working past sunset. Thanks to Debbie Gartner for the recommendation!
Inflatable Travel Neck Pillow
If the entrepreneur on your list travels to conferences or to visit clients, they probably need to master the art of sleeping while sitting. This well-rated neck pillow allows you to do that, without taking up a ton of space in your suitcase.
Business Magazine Subscription
Gift subscriptions to publications like Inc. and Entrepreneur are surprisingly affordable.
At press time, you can gift 2 years of Inc. for just $15, and 2 years of Entrepreneur for just $18.
Thanks to Sarah Lebner for the suggestion!
The Bulletproof Diet
Side Hustle Nation member Will Dale credits The Bulletproof Diet book with helping him lose 65 pounds in 2 months. He added that his “energy and focus levels are through the roof!”
(Critical reviews of this book point out that many sections are a sales pitch for the author’s own products. Since you could easily substitute “ketogenic” for “bulletproof,” Fat for Fuel may be a less sensational way to get similar results.)
Socks that Rock (Their Favorite Team)
Speaking from experience, these 47 Brand socks are super comfy and make a great gift.
Tons of pro and college teams are available.
Clever Coffee Mug
Etsy has tons of funny, inspirational, and snarky coffee mugs to choose from. All you have to do is pick the one that best fits the entrepreneur you have in mind.
Gifts for Entrepreneurs Under $50
Portable Phone Charger
When I’m traveling for conferences, a portable charger like this one from Anker is a life-saver.
The Five-Minute Journal
The popular Five-Minute Journal promises “a happier you in just 5 minutes a day.” The journal is structured to help you focus and prioritize, practice gratitude, and reflect on your days.
Thanks to Tiffany Dawn for the recommendation!
The Best Self Planner
Another well-rated planner recommended by Abir Hossain in the Side Hustle Nation Facebook group was this Best Self Planner.
The 6-month planner is “scientifically designed to boost productivity.”
Rocketbook Fusion Resusable Notebook
And rounding out the notebook and journal theme here is the innovative Rocketbook Fusion.
The big selling point of the Rocketbook is that you can use the pages over and over again — the ink washes clean with water and the included microfiber towel. Thanks to Mark Malafarina for the suggestion!
MUD/WTR Mushroom “Coffee”
This coffee alternative promises natural energy and focus — without the jitters and crash. The beautifully designed trial kit makes a great, unique gift.
Thanks to Stellar McSherry for the recommendation!
True Wireless Earbuds
Cords are so 2017! Get with the times with some sleek bluetooth earbuds to take your favorite audiobooks or podcasts on the go.
This pair is rated almost as highly as Apple’s Airpods, but at a fraction of the cost.
Premium T-Shirt
The suit and tie may be optional these days, but super soft t-shirts never go out of style. This one from Thomas Frank is a favorite of mine, and serves as a constant reminder that there’s always more to learn.
Gifts for Entrepreneurs Under $100
Meal Delivery Service
Like it says on the Freshly gift page, this is two gifts in one: food + time! Meal planning, shopping, and preparation can eat up big chunks of time, so a gift that eliminates some of that burden is always appreciated.
Hello Fresh is the leading meal kit delivery service and has lots of options for different dietary preferences:
And if take out is more their style, gift cards are available for Uber Eats and Grubhub as well.
Thanks to Chris Pitcher for the recommendation on this one!
House Cleaning Service
Another way to give the gift of time is to arrange for a house cleaner. The service we’re currently using is Handy, which has worked out well for the last year.
The app matches homeowners with local cleaners nationwide, but might be worth double-checking they operate in your recipient’s local area.
A Subscription to Headspace
The popular Headspace app has helped millions of users “stress less, get more focused, and be happier.” Meditation and mindfulness have some powerful benefits, but it can be a challenge to develop the practice.
A gift subscription here could be the perfect way to start.
Thanks to Sara Trezzi for the recommendation!
Audible Gift Membership
The average CEO reads dozens of books a year, and audiobooks are a popular way to consume helpful content on the go. Audible offers gift memberships of varying lengths and could be perfect for a podcast fan or traveling entrepreneur.
(And if your recipient is already an Audible member, the credits will be automatically added to their account.) Thanks to Jimmy Mallinson for the recommendation.
Blinkist Subscription
Colin Jones recommended gifting a Blinkist subscription. The popular book summary service condenses bestselling non-fiction books into actionable 15-minute packs — available in both text and audio.
It’s a great way for entrepreneurs to bust through their reading list while still picking up important ideas.
Skillshare Membership
Several Side Hustle Nation members suggested a gift membership to the online course site Skillshare.com. The platform has thousands of curated courses on a wide variety of topics; I like to call it “Netflix for Entrepreneurs.”
Gifts for Entrepreneurs: Conclusion
You know your entrepreneur recipient best, but hopefully these gift ideas got your gears turning on what they’d really like to unwrap!
