AT&T TV Is Launching Nationwide Today

Today, AT&T launched its live TV streaming service, AT&T TV, with claims that it offers your favorite channels and easy access to all the most popular apps through one device.

Clark.com has been covering all the best live TV streaming services so that you can learn more about streaming options before cutting the cord from traditional cable. Here’s what to know about AT&T TV, including key features and how much it costs.

AT&T TV: What We Know About the Live TV Streaming Service

The new streaming service is rolling out nationwide after it was tested in select markets last year. The service works with an Android-powered set-top box and comes in these packages:

  • Entertainment: $49.99 a month (increases to $93 a month after 12 months)
  • Choice: $54.99 a month (increases to $110 a month after 12 months)
  • Xtra: $64.99 a month (increases to $124 a month after 12 months)
  • Ultimate: $69.99 a month (increases to $135 a month after 12 months)

As you can see, the monthly price jumps nearly 100% after the first year of service. The introductory price is available with a two-year agreement. AT&T is also charging an activation fee and early termination fees.

Here’s the channel lineup you’ll get with each package. Premium channels like HBO are available at no charge for the first three months of service.

Final Thoughts

With some steep pricing and a two-year contract, AT&T TV may be a tough sell for streaming customers.
