Verizon’s unlimited plan wireless customers are about to get a free year of Disney+, the new streaming service from The Walt Disney Company.

New Offer Saves Subscribers Around $70 or More

According to a press release, Verizon will offer many of its unlimited customers a year’s worth of free access to Disney+ beginning November 12.

That’s the same day the new streaming service — featuring movies and TV shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic — launches nationwide.

The following customers are eligible for this offer:

  • New and existing 4G LTE unlimited wireless customers
  • New and existing 5G unlimited wireless customers
  • New Fios Home Internet customers
  • New 5G Home Internet customers

For those who are not eligible Verizon customers, Disney+ is regularly priced at $6.99 per month.

That’s $2 less than Netflix’s cheapest plan ($8.99/month), but $1 more than Hulu’s cheapest plan ($5.99/month).

However, you can also opt to pay for the service annually at a discounted rate of $69.99, or just $5.83 a month.

So, Verizon’s offer will save its unlimited customers around $70 for the first year. After that, they’ll have to subscribe to the service on their own if they wish to continue getting Disney+.
